The journey to building the best Lake Murray real estate company is based on living the dream. Local to Columbia and a business graduate of the University of South Carolina, I spent my teenage years (late 70’s) working a family restaurant and marina on Lake Murray. After college I spent 20 years in management in the service industry before returning to my roots in the year 2000, which was Lake Murray.
My interest was real estate and I began buying and rehabbing houses around the lake. In 2002 I entered into the property management of lake front homes specializing in vacation rentals, a successful business we still operate today.
My love and knowledge of lake front real estate allowed me the opportunity to help others in their quest for living the dream. Owning lake front property is a life style and no one knows it better than the team of agents I have put together, all of whom live on Lake Murray. Lake Murray Sales was established in early 2007 to satisfy the niche in a very specialized market of lake front properties.
I am a member of the Consolidated Multiple listing service, Nation Realtors Association with an accreditation of CBR, Certified Buyer Representative. I serve on the board of Capital City Lake Murray Country and an active member of Lake Murray Chamber. It is my duty to understand the current events, regulations and growth around Lake Murray so that I can better serve you, whether you are buying or selling you will need help. This past year I was put into a position where I needed a new home and as quickly as possible. I came across one of Mr. Walston's listings and he met me at the property that same day.
